Outdoor Learning Series – Collecting and Recording data with a Nature NB Bioblitz

February 19 @ 3:45 pm - 4:15 pm

Collecting and Recording data with a Nature NB Bioblitz

Join Caitlyn Robert as she dives into Bioblitzes! Bioblitzes are tools to discover the biodiversity in an area and the data collected can be used to protect species at risk, manage resources and land that are used by living things and monitor climate change and its effects on biodiversity. This session will cover how to conduct a bioblitz, the different activities that can have students design their own bioblitz and explore the data they collected and introduce identification and community science tools like iNaturalist.
