This professional learning journey invites Early Childhood Educators to step confidently into pedagogical leadership. Grounded in vision, relationships, and a strong image of children and ourselves as educators, this course offers space to test new thinking, reflect on lived experiences, and recognize leadership in our daily practice. Across eight intentionally designed modules, you’ll explore the six principles of pedagogical leadership and examine how your values, beliefs, and image of the child shape your role as a leader in learning. As a pedagogical leader, you will deepen your understanding of curriculum, grow your capacity to support and inspire colleagues, and strengthen the professional culture within your program. Through documentation, dialogue, and meaningful reflection, this course helps you lead with clarity, compassion, and purpose — contributing to an overall responsive, collaborative, and high-quality early learning environment.
The 8-module series aims to:
- Deepen competencies of curriculum implementation
- Provide trained coaches and mentors
- Provide recruitment and retention support
- Develop pedagogical support for social emotional/behavior challenges
- Cultivate well-being among educators, children and families
