Interested in learning how to lead your own wetland field trip? Join expert Samantha Brewster from Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) to learn what you need to know to have a successful outing. The program will include a brief introduction to wetlands, resources that are available to you to take your class outside and tips and tricks to make the most of your day in the field. Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) is an international leader in wetland conservation. DUC works with many partners to conserve wetlands that are critical to waterfowl, wildlife and the environment. Using sound science, DUC delivers on the ground habitat conservation projects, research, education programs, and public policy work to stay wetland loss.

Sam has worked for Ducks Unlimited Canada (DUC) for 10 years delivering educational programming across New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island and enhancing the interpretive programs at the Fredericton Ducks Unlimited Conservation Centre. Overall, Sam has specialized in outdoor nature education for 25 years, starting her career at the Irving Nature Park, spending 7 years as a nature interpreter and 8 years as Park Manager.
