DESCRIPTION:Join us for a special lecture with Dr. Jonathan Foley\, Executive Director of Project Drawdown\, the world’s leading resource for climate solutions. He is a world-renowned environmental scientist\, sustainability expert\, author\, and public speaker whose work focuses on understanding our changing planet and increasing the adoption of the most promising solutions to sustain the climate\, ecosystems\, and natural resources we all depend on. \nThe lecture will also feature the exclusive release of LSF’s 3rd climate change and education survey report From Awareness to Action: Canadians on Climate Change and Education. The presentation will explore trends in what Canadians think about climate change\, the role of education\, what climate change education is currently happening in classrooms\, and how schools can move from awareness to meaningful action. \nDates\nThis event will be hosted virtually\, on Zoom on June 18th from 7-8pm ET. You will be sent details on how to join the session prior to the event. \nThe Annual Dr. David V.J.
