DESCRIPTION:From Systems to Success: How Leadership and PBIS Practices Foster Positive School Climate and Culture (PBIS Team) – In-Person (Full Day\, Miramichi) \nThis interactive presentation explores how PBIS (Positive Behavioural Interventions and Supports) practices support building leaders as they create a foundation for a positive\, proactive\, and inclusive school climate and by extension the learning environment. This presentation will also discuss and provide example of how to grow the leadership potential of others through the alignment of the school PBIS team/SIP and School based data points. Research on PBIS states that implementation\, requires collaboration among staff thus empowering educators to take on leadership roles in behaviour support teams\, data analysis\, and peer coaching.
