DESCRIPTION:PHYSICAL EDUCATION WEBINAR SERIES\nSession 3:\nThursday November 27\, 3:45-4:15 via Teams\nJoin Director of Programs\, Joanne Lawson with Champions for Life Foundation to learn about their quality physical literacy programming. Joanne Lawson holds a Bachelor of Education and an Honours Degree in Physical and Health Education. She brings extensive teaching experience from her years in both Ontario and Quebec. For the past decade\, Joanne has led program development and delivery as the Director of Programs at the Champions for Life Foundation\, where she is deeply committed to advancing the organization’s mission. Outside of her professional role\, she enjoys family time\, travelling\, volunteering in her community\, and staying active through swimming\, volleyball\, and outdoor activities. \nThe Champions for Life Foundation is a charitable organization that empowers children to move well and to build the knowledge and understanding\, skills\, confidence and motivation to be active for a lifetime. We offer four unique Physical Literacy programs designed to incorporate meaningful movement activities throughout the school day. During this webinar Physical Education teachers will discover how to integrate the learning of fundamental movement skills through Little Champions interACTIVE stories\, a Recess Champions Leadership Program\, the Champions in Motion Program and Physical Education Champions resources. \n\nRegistration\n\nDoor Prize\n\nOne lucky class will win a prize from EECD.
