Continuing Education and Resources

  • Autism Resource Hub: The Autism Resource Hub, created by Autism Learning Partnership (ALP), is intended for New Brunswick parents/guardians of a child with ASD. This site brings together resources created by ALP and other existing resources that could help parents/guardians accompany their child. Please feel free to share with parents/guardians and colleagues.
  • Autism Learning Partnership website: The Autism Learning Partnership (ALP) website houses a variety of resources for school and preschool personnel and families. It also promotes the different courses offered by ALP. Do not register for training through this website. All school staff can register for the level 1 training using the link provided in the Professional Learning and Development Opportunities above.
  • ALP Youtube Channel: The Autism Learning Partnership has a Youtube channel where we share videos and recorded presentations for a general audience
  • Promoting Autistic Adults’ Mental Health: If you work with learners in high school grades, you may be interested in this webinar, which was presented last December: Webinar – Promoting autistic adults’ mental health : AM-HeLP. Be sure to also look at the accompanying guide, Autism Mental Health Literacy Project (AM-HeLP) | Developmental Disabilities and Mental Health Lab (yorku.ca).
  • CALI – Functional Skills for Independence: The CALI – Functional Skills for Independence is a tool that was designed to assess skills related to activities of daily living for individuals of varying ages and development level. All New Brunswick resource teachers and district support staff can have access to the assessment manual and the online resource that is meant to help individuals plan and implement effective interventions. Please communicate with your district if you need access to a manual or the website.
