Overview
The Duty to Accommodate in K-12 Education e-learning module was collaboratively developed by the New Brunswick Human Rights Commission and EECD. This is a mandatory training module for all school personnel, which gives an overview of the NB Human Rights Act, the Commission, and the steps in the complaints process. Most of the module is dedicated to teaching school personnel about the duty to accommodate in education K-12, including the record keeping process, undue hardship, scenarios, law, and more. Whether completing the e-module as a group, or individually, each staff member will log into the e-module to take the final assessment and receive a certificate
