Antiracism in Action: Human Rights, Equity & Belonging

Introductory Interactive Professional Learning E-Module

Overview

Welcome to Antiracism in Action: Human Rights, Equity, and Belonging, an introductory interactive e-module available through the PL Hub. This learning experience is designed to help build a shared understanding of human rights, equity, belonging, and antiracism across the education system.

Grounded in the principles of inclusive and equitable education, the module uses an engaging, story-based approach to explore scenarios inspired by situations that school teams may encounter. Through interactive decision-making, reflection, and practical application, participants will deepen their understanding of how discrimination and systemic inequities can impact learners and school communities.

As participants progress through the module, they will strengthen their ability to recognize barriers to inclusion, reflect on their own perspectives and practices, and identify strategies that support equitable and inclusive learning environments. The goal is to help create school communities where all learners feel valued, affirmed, safe, and empowered to fully participate, learn, and thrive.
